What exactly is the "state fee"?
It's the government filing fee your formation state charges to register the LLC — money that goes to the state, not to LLCDeck. It ranges from $50 (New Mexico) to $300 (Texas) and is itemized separately everywhere on this site.

Are there any fees you're not showing me?
No. Your first-year total is the package price + your state's filing fee + any add-ons you choose. Renewals (registered agent $99/yr after year one on Plus/Complete, compliance service $149/yr if added) are stated on this page — not discovered later.

How do I pay from outside the U.S.?
We accept international cards and, in many countries, local payment methods. Prices are in USD; your bank handles conversion at its rate.

What's your refund policy?
Full refund of our service fee any time before we file with the state. Once a state filing is submitted, state fees are non-refundable (the state keeps them), and our fee is refundable minus work completed. Details on the refund policy page.

Does the registered agent renew automatically?
Only with notice. We remind you at 60, 30, and 7 days before renewal, and you can cancel or switch agents before the date. No silent auto-charges.

Can I upgrade my package later?
Yes — you pay the difference. Most founders who start on Starter add EIN support once their bank asks for it; upgrading to Complete before filing is usually cheaper.
